Our Story
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia we’ve built an innovative platform that redefines diagnostic imaging distribution. In 2022, we were acquired by boutique private equity house Acclivis Group specialising in Medtech, further strengthening our investment and commitment to advancing healthcare technology and improving patient and referrer engagement.

Chief Executive Officer, Zed Technologies
Ronald Li
Ronald Li is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Zed Technologies, a leading provider of innovative diagnostic imaging solutions. With a deep passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery, Ronald has been instrumental in shaping the company’s vision, strategy, and growth since its inception.
As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Ronald played a pivotal role in developing Zed Technologies' platforms, which simplify the sharing and viewing of diagnostic images and reports. His leadership in this role drove significant efficiencies across radiology providers, departments, GPs, and specialist networks, establishing the company as a trusted partner in healthcare innovation.
Following the retirement of Co-Founder and former CEO Ross Wright on June 30, 2024, the board appointed Ronald as the new Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, Ronald has seamlessly transitioned from his technical leadership role to driving the company’s overall strategic direction. His ability to combine deep technical expertise with a visionary approach to healthcare innovation has positioned Zed Technologies for continued success and global impact.
Before founding Zed Technologies, Ronald gained extensive experience in teleradiology and radiology services, where he honed his expertise in creating scalable technology solutions that deliver business value and improve patient and referrer engagement.
As CEO, Ronald remains dedicated to advancing healthcare delivery through innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. He is a passionate advocate for improving patient outcomes by empowering healthcare providers with faster, more efficient access to diagnostic imaging.
Chief Commercial Officer, Zed Technologies
Kimber Rothwell
Kimber Rothwell is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in healthcare technology, strategy, business, and corporate development. As Chief Commercial Officer at Zed Technologies, Kimber is responsible for driving revenue growth and retention, overseeing the company’s go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, reseller networks, direct sales, and account management. Kimber also plays a pivotal role in corporate development, identifying growth opportunities, fostering strategic collaborations, and aligning commercial initiatives with long-term business objectives.
Before joining Zed Technologies, Kimber served as the Chief Executive Officer at Echo IQ (ASX: EIQ), where he led strategy, commercialisation, financial management, investor relations, and corporate development, ensuring the company’s innovation and scalability in the healthcare technology sector.
Prior to this, Kimber was the Vice President for Australia and New Zealand at Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH), and Change Healthcare (NASDAQ: CHNG), where he successfully drove regional business growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. Kimber has also held senior commercial and business development roles with McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK), a Fortune 500 company, and PwC.

Chief Operating Officer, Zed Technologies
Alvin Huang
Alvin is the Chief Operating Officer at Zed Technologies, bringing over a decade of experience in strategic leadership and operations management. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s daily operations and ensuring alignment with Zed Technologies’ strategic objectives. Alvin plays a key role in scaling the business by driving operational efficiency, supporting growth, and executing initiatives that enhance the company’s impact in the diagnostic imaging sector.
With expertise in financial and HR management, Alvin ensures optimal resource allocation, fiscal health, and the attraction of top talent. His leadership has been pivotal in improving workflows, enhancing service delivery, and positioning Zed Technologies for continued success in its global markets.
Before joining Zed Technologies, Alvin held senior roles as General Manager for DX Imaging Pte Ltd (Singapore) and Group Senior Operations Manager at AsiaMedic Limited. In these roles, he successfully led cross-functional teams, optimised operational processes, and worked closely with senior leadership to align business strategy with day-to-day operations. Alvin’s experience in both business development and operational management has enabled him to drive significant improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
As COO, Alvin is focused on driving operational excellence, improving processes, and supporting Zed Technologies' growth as a leader in the healthcare technology industry.
